- Se recuerda la ´edad de oro´ de construcción de teatros por el IMSS entre 1960 y 1964, como parte de sus prestaciones sociales.
- Se describe el Teatro Hidalgo (inaugurado en mayo de 1962 con La Orestiada de Esquilo) y sus recursos técnicos, como un ciclorama de concreto armado.
- Los hermanos Julio y Alejandro Prieto concretaron el proyecto teatral del IMSS, siendo Julio director de escena y Alejandro arquitecto.
